It is the successor version of our 5 A CAN motor controller, which offers you two multifunctional inputs compared to the previous version and, thanks to the 32-bit processor, even more computing power and long component availability.
The controller can be configured either as two half bridges or one full bridge with 5 A power. The integrated ramp functions allow you to start up the motors smoothly or slow them down slowly.
Due to the free configurability and programmability using the MRS Applics Studio programming software and the compact design, a wide range of applications can be realized, such as
- the evaluation of rotary encoders for position feedback,
- the control of linear drives, also as an alternative to hydraulic valves,
- or the control of fans and actuators.
The motor is controlled decentrally via defined CAN messages. The current consumption of the motor is monitored and it is switched off at a defined threshold value in order to protect the mechanics.
